VFW of Ohio Charities Donates $10,000 to Wright Patterson Family Services

On July 15, 2013 VFW of Ohio Charities presented a $10,000 contribution to Wright Patterson Family Services, a private organization that provides assistance to all branches of service and their families. Presenting the check to Judy Pyron, WPAFB Family Services Volunteer Coordinator was Mr. Bill Seagraves, Executive Director for VFWOC, and Mr. Dan Faulkner, local VFWOC liaison to WPAFB.
The WPAFB Family Services mission is to aid all military members and their families during times of financial crisis.
“Family Services is so very grateful to the VFW who has been our partner since 2006 contributing over $100,000” said Judy Pyron of Family Services. “Contributions have come from both VFW of Ohio Charities and the local VFW Posts. Their generosity has made it possible for us to lift a burden from the very people defending our freedom. It is with a grateful heart that we say thank you to the VFW for making it possible to continue our mission.”
