A COALITION WITH A PROVEN RECORD OF SUPPORTING ITS MEMBERS.
The OVFCC is an unincorporated association that was established in 2003 to achieve consensus and develop policy on various issues affecting veterans and fraternal organizations in the State of Ohio. Member organizations have input regarding charitable gaming as well as legislation, rules and regulations that impact veterans and fraternal organizations.
Our voice was heard in the summer of 2012 when the Governor of Ohio signed into law a provision that gives burdened nonprofit organizations much-needed tax relief. The law allows revenue from video raffles and charitable bingo to help pay property taxes—and that goes straight to your bottom line.
In 2011, the OVFCC launched a charitable video raffle program to help veteran and fraternal groups across Ohio cope with declining revenues from charitable bingo. Current economic conditions, as well as competition from newly-opened casinos have significantly impacted veteran and fraternal organizations and their charities.
The OVFCC’s innovative Video Raffle program allows veterans and fraternal organizations, who most certainly help tens of thousands of citizens in their respective communities, protect their current sources of funding.
Our Video Raffle program typically increases profits to your post or club by 50 percent.
